The Pentagon Food Groups purpose is based around “ONE TEAM”. As part of our ongoing Employee Engagement strategy, Pentagon Food Group value the opinions and feedback from our valued employees, across the U.K and our Shared Service Centre in Pakistan. We have based this around “ONE VOICE”, as it is very important to the Company, that every employee has an opportunity to give their input into the success of the company. This is a great platform for everyone to use their voice, and they can choose to be anonymous or not. Our company has always been proud that there is an open-door policy, but we also know that sometimes our employees would like to maintain their anonymity when speaking out on honest issues they might be facing.

We know that feedback is fundamental to creating a company culture that is truly collaborative, inclusive, and will engage our employees. We will act on it, and keep the employee involved in the process where possible and when the change is finalised, the employee will be recognised for their idea that inspired the positive change.
Clear communication means that your messages and assigned tasks are being effectively communicated to the employees. We make sure that all the concerns and messages of the employers are clearly communicated to the employees and vice versa. We constantly listen to what our employees say and do regular follow-ups to ensure that our messages are getting across.
ONE Team Together
All business function staff have to interact with one another and to the customers to make the company run smoothly. We, at Pentagon Food Group, use in-depth work style & personality assessments of our employees so that managers can coach them how to interact better with each other and with the customers.
Close the loop
Sometimes, however, not every employee’s suggestion will make it to implementation, and we will always close the loop, with those employees who don’t see their ideas come to fruition. We will always give feedback that their input is valued, and we will communicate the reasons why it can’t be implemented.
Motivate & Engage employees
At Pentagon Food Group, we believe that recognition isn’t just a way to motivate and engage employees, but it’s a way of showing that we value our employees’ voices in the workplace. By creating a company culture where everyone has a voice, we will recognise our employees for their contribution.
As part of our “ONE VOICE” campaign, we have created a postcard that will allow all our employees to contribute to the continued success of Pentagon Food Group. Simple in design, but a powerful tool, to make sure that all our Employees, feel valued and can “use their voice”. To cover the confidential element, there are post-boxes available to allow the employee, to speak with confidence. We will also be rolling out the “ONE VOICE” cards to our valued customers and suppliers, as their feedback is just as important to us.
